Biodiversity Framework for the MidCoast adopted by Council

MidCoast Council now has its first Biodiversity Framework in place, a roadmap that outlines a consolidated approach to conserving our natural heritage across the MidCoast region that we all love to live in.

Council adopted the Biodiversity Framework 2021-2030 at the 28 July 2021 Ordinary Meeting. Check out the Council Meeting minutes here.

A huge amount of effort and preparation, combined with an extensive amount of community consultation and stakeholder engagement was involved to make the Biodiversity Framework 2021-2030 come to life.

The Framework will help guide Council and the community in protecting and managing our unique natural environment for future generations, and to enhance the liveability of our towns and villages that the MidCoast is renowned for
