Two concept designs have been developed for improvements to the Council owned amenities of the Bluey Beach shop area including footpaths, roads and gardens.

Sections of the plan are to be delivered by the developer of Blueys Estate and include a new roundabout on Boomerang Drive, a new access road and a medium sized car park.

Option one

Option one includes:

  • 36 car parks
  • four motorbike bays
  • a facility for safer pedestrian road crossing
    • near the entrance at the post office and
    • near the entrance at the news agency

The plan is unfunded and will be used to apply for funding once the plan is approved. The project will be completed in stages as funding is sourced from grants and other revenue sources.
