The Development Servicing Plan (DSP) was on public exhibition from 8 May to 13 June 2025 with 10-days prior notice ahead of the exhibition period given for the following stakeholders:

  • Developers who have applied for planning approval in the previous 6 months
  • Local chambers of commerce
  • The Urban Development Institute of Australia
  • The Housing Industry Association

  • No substantive changes were made to the DSP based on the 5 submissions received during the exhibition period.

    • Developer charges help cover the cost of new or upgraded infrastructure for developments.

    • Charges also go toward renewing assets that are more than 30 years old.

    • The plan sets area-based charges instead of one rate for all of the MidCoast.
