Would you like to be a citizen scientist?

Would you like to be a citizen scientist and join in a community-led River Revival monitoring initiative? We are looking for volunteers in the Nowendoc, Barnard and Dingo catchments, rolling out into other areas in 2022.


What is involved?

Your contribution to the River Revival project includes collecting scientifically valid water quality data over time will help us monitor river health following the drought, fires and flooding events of the last few years.


What is the benefit of getting involved in the River Revival project?

River Revival offers an opportunity for anyone from the community and landholders to build understanding of our amazing river systems and contribute to our collective knowledge.


How will we support you?

Our catchment officers will provide the equipment, training and supervision while you get started. Options to participate include:

  • Join our catchment officers as they carry out regular monitoring at sites across the project area. Come along to see what’s involved then join us monthly or quarterly.
  • Invite us to your property for an introduction to River Revival monitoring, and discuss how you can help us on a more regular basis.
