Overview
We obtained funding from the NSW Government to undertake repairs and replacements in Gloucester District Park.
Damaged areas of the pathway have been repaired to ensure accessibility for all park users. Picnic shelters have also been replaced.
This funding provided the opportunity to revitalise Farley Gates, on Boundary Street, creating an open passive space with a new hopscotch and platform bench seat. This part of the park is now a restful space where groups of friends or families can get together.
With Minimbah Reserve also receiving improvements, we worked with the Neighbourhood Centre and the Gloucester Community to improve Minimbah Gardens with some new signage and cultural plantings.
