Overview

A $379,280 expansion of Tea Gardens Library is planned for early 2023.

Key features of the project include a new events/meeting space which will act as a study area when not in use. It will also include increased library storage and an accessible toilet and a kitchenette.

The library will increase by 97 square metres, providing a range of additional opportunities for the community.

The project is funded by a Public Libraries Infrastructure Grant.

What you can expect during this time

It may be necessary to periodically close the library. Every effort will be made to keep the library open as much as possible during construction.

Construction noise may also be expected during this period.

Completion is expected to take approximately 12 - 14 weeks, weather permitting.
