Pedestrians are asked to exercise caution in the area and observe worksite signage.
On Monday 26 May 2025, workers will be tasked with repairing the concrete apron.
The work to replace the actual fence will start in July 2025 with an end date yet to be confirmed.
The contract for the work was awarded to XINC Engineering and the funding will come from Council’s 2024-2025 General Fund surplus.

The fence is approximately 280 metres long and is estimated to be over 70 years old.
