About the project
The Allworth swimming enclosure is located on the picturesque Karuah River as part of the Allworth foreshore. This area has a boat ramp, jetty, picnic shelter, car park, fish cleaning tables and a public toilet.
Thanks to the Federal Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program (Phase 3), we've replaced the Sketchley Tidal Pool (Allworth Tidal Pool) enclosure.
The space is now much more enjoyable thanks a new retaining wall, fully jetty makeover, new piles and netting, new concrete stairs and handrail, new ladder, turfing, seating, bollards and solar lighting.
