About the project
Browns Creek is a tidal waterway that meanders through the township of Taree. It is highly visible to the community and supports a wide range of environmental habitats from estuarine seagrass beds to koala habitat. Following the completion of the elevated timber boardwalk in 2021 (phase one of the project), phase two began in August 2022. The final works include the construction of a concrete shared pathway connecting the existing boardwalk with Victoria Street, Taree. Once complete, the pathway will link Muscio Park and Victoria Street. We’ve worked together with Friends of Browns Creek on this project.
