OVERVIEW

We recently asked for feedback on an agreement that will enable the conservation of 80 hectares of environmentally sensitive land.

The offer is an attempt to offset any potential impacts of a proposed four lot subdivision proposed on the subject land.

The proposed subdivision is seeking to use Clause 4.1b of the Great Lakes Local Environmental Plan to vary the minimum lot size by conserving a portion of environmental sensitive land.

The draft agreement, explanatory note and letter of offer can be found below.

Feedback closed at 4:30pm Monday 11 September 2023.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and live, the Gathang-speaking people and pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who now reside in the MidCoast Council area. We extend our respect to elders past and present, and to all future cultural-knowledge holders.
